<h3>πŸ“‹ Description</h3> β€’ CPI is seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team! We are a full-service consultancy and professional services firm specializing in large capital projects (infrastructure, energy, etc). We are headquartered in San Diego, CA, but our team is fully remote. β€’ Job Summary: The Data Analyst Level 2 plays a key role in delivering advanced analytics, cross-functional insights, and proactive process improvements. This role requires strong analytical thinking, proficiency with a range of data tools, and the ability to collaborate across departments to shape data-driven decision-making. β€’ Support day-to-day analytics operations, including data extraction, cleansing, and report generation β€’ Create dashboards with guidance from senior analysts β€’ Understand business needs to assist in decision-making β€’ Communicate results and insights clearly and concisely β€’ Ensure timely project completion β€’ Visualize data in an easily consumable way for business stakeholders, using advanced reporting tools and dashboards β€’ Execute ETL processes to assess datasets, identify nulls or errors, and load data to appropriate platforms β€’ Perform in-depth data analysis and compile clear technical reports and findings β€’ Collaborate effectively within and across teams, providing actionable insights to guide decisions β€’ Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous enhancement of analytics practices <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience; master’s degree a plus β€’ 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field β€’ Ability to independently write and execute complex and efficient SQL queries β€’ Experience designing and completing Power BI reports or similar dashboard projects β€’ Demonstrated skillful data cleaning and validation β€’ Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Python β€’ Demonstrated focus on automation and version control β€’ Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights clearly to stakeholders β€’ Experience in cross-functional collaboration with the ability to build trust and credibility β€’ Strong planning, documentation, and process-tracking skills β€’ Energy utility domain knowledge preferred but not required β€’ Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate Certificate or similar preferred β€’ Experience with AWS preferred <h3>πŸ–οΈ Benefits</h3> β€’ Salary: $80,000-$100,000+ depending upon qualifications and experience. β€’ Work from home (fully remote) β€’ 2-3 weeks flexible paid time off β€’ Home equipment allowance (monitors, stand-up desk, etc.) β€’ Annual education allowance β€’ 401(k) with company matching β€’ Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance
