β’ Partner with leadership, engineers, underwriters, and actuaries to understand data requirements.
β’ Design, develop and deploy a scalable modern data stack to support business objectives.
β’ Build a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
β’ A passion to deliver a world-class customer service experience to both internal and external customer.

β’ 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a track record of designing and managing complex data systems.
β’ Ability to facilitate and gather business requirements and come up with scalable engineering solutions
β’ Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing and leading teams of data engineers.
β’ Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
β’ Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
β’ Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.
β’ Experience with cloud computing solutions such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
β’ Experience with cloud data solutions such Snowflake, Databricks, and Big Query

β’ Prior startup experience
β’ Experience with data transformation tools like dbt
β’ Experience with data integration tools like Fivetran and Hevo
β’ Experience with data orchestration tools like Prefect and AIrflow
β’ Experience solving insurance industry / domain related challenges
β’ Understanding of data security and user data privacy regulations
β’ Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
β’ Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
β’ Degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
