Data Engineer, AWS Vulnerability Management

We are never bored and always have an interesting and challenging task to solve.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br>- Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture.<br>- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of next generation data and BI solutions from the ground up.<br>- Manage AWS resources including Redshift, S3, EC2, Athena, Glue, etc.<br>- Optimize automated processes for performance and fault tolerance.<br>- Optimize support for ad-hoc analysis across various data sources<br>- Collaborate with BI Engineers, Software Engineers, and cross-functionally to deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines.<br>- Make large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable by applications and teams.<br><br>About the team<br>About the team<br>Diverse Experiences<br>Amazon Security values diverse experiences. • 3+ years of data engineering experience<br>- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines<br>- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
