Data Engineer, ShipTech Analytics

DESCRIPTION: Do you have the technical prowess to build data solutions that process billions of rows a day using AWS technologies? Do you thrive on solving complex data challenges and implementing big data architectures?<br><br>We're seeking a talented Data Engineer who is passionate about working with large-scale data analytics solutions and cloud technologies. <br><br>First things first, you must know SQL and data modelling like the back of your hand. You need to know Big Data and MPP systems. You have a history of coming up with innovative solutions to complex technical problems. You are a quick and willing learner of new technologies. You are not tool-centric; You determine what technology works best for the problem at hand and apply it accordingly. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of data engineering experience<br>- Experience with SQL<br>- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines<br>- Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)<br>- Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
