Job Description

Confido is a next-generation financial automation and intelligence platform that helps fast-growing CPG brands operate and scale more efficiently.

About the role

Confido is building an AI-native operating system for brands that sell into brick-and-mortar retail. We’re building intuitive and powerful software paired with AI agents that help brands automate the 1000s of hours of tedious manual work that goes into scaling a brand in retail. Brands like Baskin Robbins and Olipop use our first products in accounting and planning to account for and plan for $Bs of retail revenue.

We have millions of ARR, best-in-class growth, and best in class efficiency. We raised an unannounced Series A in Q2 2025.

You will be on our Business Operations team and report to the Head of Business Operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Leverage deep CPG industry knowledge to provide strategic guidance and support to existing customers, ensuring successful adoption and optimization of our software solutions

  • Partner with product development team to identify, prioritize, and define new software features based on CPG industry needs, market gaps, and client feedback

  • Serve as a primary CPG subject matter expert, translating complex business processes (S&OP, forecasting, AOP, trade finance) into clear product requirements and user stories

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at leading CPG companies, acting as trusted advisor on business process optimization and technology solutions

  • Drive client success initiatives including implementation support, training, and ongoing consultation to maximize software ROI and strengthen customer retention About You:

  • 7+ years in Consumer Packaged Goods with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: Sales/Trade Finance or Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, or Sales Analytics, plus experience with core business planning processes (S&OP, Forecasting, AOP)

  • Passion for being at the technology leading edge, driving automation and optimization of core CPG functions through innovative software solutions

  • Trade promotion experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

  • Strong background in demand forecasting and AOP (Annual Operating Plan) development and execution

  • Proficiency with syndicated data sources (Circana, Nielsen, SPINS)

  • You’re both competitive and kind

  • Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week Confido develops in: Ruby on Rails for our back-end, TypeScript React for the front-end, and Python for ML services and R&D analysis. We also use a variety of cloud/serverless services including AWS Textract, Lambda, S3, SES, Postgres, Porter K8s, and Render.
