Founding Senior/Staff Designer

Confido is a next-generation financial automation and intelligence platform that helps fast-growing CPG brands operate and scale more efficiently. Confido is building an AI-native operating system for brands that sell into brick-and-mortar retail. We’re building intuitive and powerful software paired with AI agents that help brands automate the 1000s of hours of tedious manual work that goes into scaling a brand in retail. Brands like Tropicana and Olipop use our first products in accounting and planning to account for and plan for $Bs of retail revenue. We have millions of ARR and best-in-class growth on just over $4M raised. You will be our founding designer and own the direction of Confido’s design function. You’ll get to work at the forefront of designing best-in-class AI tooling for multiple departments within CPG brands. What You'll Do: Lead design and user experience for significant parts of our core product, contributing to the design process from prioritization through launch Rapidly prototype new features Collaborate with the team to refine our long-term product vision, design systems, brand guidelines, and internal design collaboration process Exhibit creative thinking and strategic execution, partnering with product and engineering teams to drive innovation forward Lead design and user experience for significant parts of our core product, contributing to the design process from prioritization through launch Rapidly prototype new features Collaborate with the team to refine our long-term product vision, design systems, brand guidelines, and internal design collaboration process Exhibit creative thinking and strategic execution, partnering with product and engineering teams to drive innovation forward About You: Minimum of 3 years of design experience, ideally in a startup environment Experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design for products with heavy workflows and complex data. Extraordinary visual design skills and strong understanding of UX principles Experience leading customer research sessions, aggregating insights, and communicating findings to product managers, engineers, and executives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate and defend design decisions while navigating complex product and policy considerations Minimum of 3 years of design experience, ideally in a startup environment Experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design for products with heavy workflows and complex data. We also use a variety of cloud/serverless services including AWS Textract, Lambda, S3, SES, Postgres, Porter K8s, and Render.
