Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices.<br><br>The LATAM Business Analyst role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have strong attention to detail, and will be comfortable assessing and working with multiple sources to envision, define, and structure data for strategic decision-making. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by the ambiguity or competing priorities to scale a business in a new geography. This means you are not only able to own high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br>- Understand Seller Experience processes and related key metrics, deriving insight, finding improvement opportunities, and challenging status quo.<br>- Ensure comprehensive coverage of key metrics across regions, establishing benchmarks and best practices.<br>- Partner with global business and product teams to guarantee data consistency and accuracy.<br>- Promote data-driving decision making throughout teams.<br>- Address barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders.<br>- Transform data into actionable insights in the form of detailed narratives, influencing peers and senior leadership.<br>- Propose goals and additional metrics, track progress, and report on status of deliveries. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience<br>- Experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role<br>- Advanced SQL, ETL, Excel and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role<br>- Experience in creating requirements documents and process flows<br>- Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making<br>- Verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams<br>- Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment<br>- Advanced ability to draw insights from analysis supported by data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required<br>- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
