Job Description

QFEX is the 24/7 exchange for traditional financial markets. We let you trade US equities, commodities and FX pairs with (or without) leverages of up to 100x. On QFEX, UX comes first: brokerless market access, seamless integration with traditional payment rails, and ultra-efficient Perpetual Futures offered over all asset classes. Trading has never been simpler, cheaper or fairer than with QFEX. Founded by Quants and Engineers from Citadel & Tower Research who saw an opportunity to make markets how they always should have been, QFEX will eventually replace the entire $100 billion exchange and clearing industry. QFEX is building the most delightful retail trading experience that’s ever existed. We need a visionary UI/UX designer to work alongside our product team and take the product from feedback to fruition. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside an elite, well-funded team of builders from some of the biggest financial companies in the world (Citadel, Kraken, Tower Research Capital) and change the course of financial history. Define and Build QFEX’s Design System & Brand Identity Establish a cohesive visual language, component library, and interaction patterns tailored for a high-performance trading platform. Lead End-to-End Design Partner closely with frontend engineers to turn wireframes and prototypes into production-ready UI/UX. Institute a Continuous User Research & Feedback Loop Design and run usability studies, A/B tests, and in-platform analytics to validate hypotheses and uncover pain points. Establish Scalable Design Processes & Communication Channels Set up design tooling (Figma libraries, version control, documentation) and workflows (reviews, QA, accessibility checks).
