QA Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our dynamic, high performing team with a focus on growing our Archiving services. As a very process oriented Agile shop, we employ best of breed tools like Jira, Git, automated build and deployment and constantly work to further refine our workflow. In this role, you will participate in the development of new high quality features for Intermedia's Archiving services and move our quality assurance processes forward. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Development and Product groups to define and understand the team's quality assurance needs Analyze product design and requirements specifications and translate them into detailed, methodical testing strategy Design and develop test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium and TestNG Perform manual tests as needed of hot new features and functionality Document, report, and track software defects using Atlassian's Jira software Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 4+ years of QA experience in a complex software development environment BA/BS  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience Experience working on projects using Agile methodology Experience developing and maintaining robust QA test automation Solid understanding of web based front-end testing technologies and methodologies (Selenium, JSON, JavaScript, XML, REST API, etc) Experience with Java testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit Good understanding of source control management, build processes, test environments, bug life cycle, and frequent code release deployment QA support activities Hands-on experience testing in Windows and MacOS environments Benefits -
