Role Overview: Canix is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic Product Team. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and design direction for our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create seamless, intuitive, and impactful designs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a cutting-edge product in the cannabis industry. Key Responsibilities: Design Leadership: Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring that every design detail aligns with our product vision and user needs. User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, gather insights, and apply design thinking to create exceptional user experiences across all platforms (web and mobile). Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other team members to define and implement design solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. Prototyping & Wireframing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders and development teams. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a cohesive design system that ensures consistency and scalability across Canix’s suite of products. User Testing & Iteration: Regularly test and iterate on designs based on user feedback and product performance to continuously improve the product. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, helping to elevate the design practice and foster a collaborative, creative environment. Qualifications: Experience: 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in web and mobile applications. Strong Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design clean, intuitive, and user-centric experiences. Please include examples of end-to-end design work, including research, wireframes, and final designs. Design Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar tools. Experience with prototyping tools is a plus. Understanding of UX/UI: Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, visual design, and accessibility best practices. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable presenting your designs and defending design decisions. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach challenges creatively. Bonus Skills: Experience designing for complex SaaS platforms, knowledge of the cannabis industry, or familiarity with agile development processes.
