Job Description

We’re on a mission to make behavioral health more available and accessible. We're backed by YCombinator, Craft, Zigg, and many others to make this dream a reality. At Camber, we build software for behavioral health clinicians to improve quality of care. We streamline and replace manual efforts so clinicians can focus on what they do best: providing high-quality care. — Behavioral health is broken. We think this is a problem worth solving, and we think we know how to solve it. Interested? Check out https://jobs.lever.co/juniperplatform. We’re deeply rooted in the intersection of healthcare and technology — the founders were previously healthcare consultants (at McKinsey) and all have technical backgrounds. The engineering team brings a breadth of experience (AWS, Bloomberg, Palantir, Headway). Our head of engineering previously led a team of 10 at AWS and is invested in building a first-class team of engineers with a focus on developing a diverse, inclusive, and supportive culture. We started Camber because we care about impact — the lack of supply for behavioral healthcare means those who need it most cannot access it. We see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to fix a broken industry, and why we want you on this journey with us. Camber builds software to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare. We streamline and replace manual work so clinicians can focus on what they do best: providing great care. For more details on our thesis, check out our write-up: What is Camber? We’ve raised $50M in funding from phenomenal supporters at a16z, Craft Ventures, YCombinator, Manresa, and many others who are committed to improving the accessibility of care. For more information, take a look at: Announcing Camber Our mission to change behavioral health starts with us and how we operate. We don’t want to just change behavioral health, we want to change the way startups operate. Here are a few tactical examples: Improving accessibility and quality of healthcare is something we live and breathe. Everyone on Camber’s team cares deeply about helping clinicians and patients. We have to have a sense of humor. Healthcare is so broken, it's depressing if you don't laugh with us. Camber is growing fast — and that means our team needs to grow thoughtfully, quickly, and with care. We’re looking for an early career Talent Associate to help us scale our hiring engine and build a world-class candidate experience along the way. This is a rare opportunity for someone excited to learn every part of recruiting: from sourcing and top-of-funnel strategy to closing and candidate experience. You’ll work directly with our Talent Lead, hiring teams, and leadership across the company to shape how we find and engage exceptional talent to scale our business. This is an ideal role for someone early in their recruiting career, or looking to break into the field. You’ll get hands-on experience across the full recruiting lifecycle, working closely with a fast-paced, high-performing team committed to hiring with thought and care. Own top-of-funnel initiatives : Help us scale sourcing efforts across technical and go-to-market (GTM) roles. Think A/B testing and experimentation, writing and rewriting outreach content, and bringing a curious, learning mindset to all things top of funnel Partner on search strategy : Build talent maps, research markets, and develop creative outreach approaches Level up candidate experience : Bring a willingness to provide a white glove candidate experience, and learn the ins and outs of candidate experience and recruiting operations through coordination, scheduling, and managing onsites Learn full-cycle recruiting : Get exposure to interview processes, coordination, offers, and closing Bring ideas to life : Test new tools, workflows, and systems to make our recruiting engine more efficient and equitable 2+ years of experience in recruiting or another fast-paced, strategic position Experience working on competitive or high-performing teams, or a craving to do so Comfortable navigating ambiguity and energized by building from scratch — you see white space or lack of process as an opportunity Speed with care — you have a penchant for moving quickly and executing, but with care and concern for impact A willingness to invest in your career and grow as a Talent professional Camber is based in New York City, and we prioritize in-person and hybrid candidates. Please refer to the top of this page for this position's hiring location. Building an inclusive culture is one of our core tenets as a company. We’re very aware of structural inequalities that exist, and recognize that underrepresented minorities are less likely to apply for a role if they don’t think they meet all of the requirements. If that’s you and you’re reading this, we’d like to encourage you to apply regardless — we’d love to get to know you and see if there’s a place for you here! In addition, we take security seriously, and all of our employees contribute to uphold security requirements and maintain compliance with HIPAA security regulations. Languages & Frameworks Backend: FastAPI (Python) Frontend: React Overview We’re building out a behavioral health operating system from the ground up. There’s so much in repetitive healthcare that can be improved and automated. We’re focused on implementing the right building blocks (ask us about insurance change detection and patient payments), and using these blocks to continually build out more complex products (patient experience, scheduling, and revenue cycle management). At our current scale, we already handle tens of thousands of patient’s data — there are a lot of technical and product trade-offs to be made, and designing the “right” interfaces and is paramount. Oh, and scaling it to capture a $300B market should be a fun challenge!
