<h3>📋 Description</h3> • Design and implement LLM-based features using modern AI tools, including RAG and agentic workflows
• Work across the AI lifecycle — from rapid prototyping to production — validating ideas and ensuring real-world performance
• Research and evaluate new AI tools (proprietary and OSS), recommending those with clear impact
• Collaborate with product, data, and bioinformatics teams to build AI solutions that are useful and scientifically aligned
• Optimize model performance in production: latency, output quality, token usage, robustness
• Contribute to prompt design and evaluation strategies, helping to mitigate risks like hallucinations and overconfidence in real user environments <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> • 6+ years of software development with strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
• Excellent Python skills and working knowledge of Java for integration tasks
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), including in production
• Experience with retrieval pipelines and vector DBs for semantic search in LLM workflows
• Strong grasp of agentic workflows and prompt engineering, including iterative refinement techniques
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
• Genuine interest in life sciences and applying AI in bioinformatics
