<h3>📋 Description</h3> • Articul8 AI is seeking an exceptional AI Research Manager to join us in shaping the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
• Lead and contribute to the hands-on implementation of research projects, including coding and technical development.
• Oversee the execution of research projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business development, to integrate research findings into product development.
• Continuously stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in GenAI and associated fields.
• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of AI researchers and engineers. <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> • MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning (ML), or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as an AI researcher with a track record of applied research work acting as a hands-on technical leader developing novel techniques for AI in general; and 3+ years of experience actively developing GenAI technologies.
• A strong background in parallel/distributed computing (preferably on the cloud).
• Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs in research and production environments.
• Machine learning, deep learning, probability theory and statistics, natural language processing, computer vision, data wrangling and preparation, model evaluation and interpretation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborating on code repositories is crucial.
• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning (ML), or related technical fields (preferred).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as an applied ML/AI researcher (preferred).
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing research teams (preferred).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
