Job Description

<h3>πŸ“‹ Description</h3> β€’ Design and build new data products and revamp legacy models that enhance business analytics and reporting capabilities across the Eventbrite β€’ Enable functional analytics team to deliver key dashboards and reports. You’ll own the development of metrics, data models and the underlying logic that powers the dashboards and reporting designed by our functional data partners, which in turn supports strategic decision-making by leadership. β€’ In this role specifically you will serve as an analytical partner to our Accounting organization and provide data support for business critical processes. You will drive investigations into data discrepancies and provide root cause analysis to ensure we are maintaining consistent data quality. In this role, you will work cross functionally with strategic and technical teams, supporting stakeholders in Accounting, Tax, and Internal Audit. β€’ Collaborate cross functionally to revamp data models that power business critical internal and customer-visible metrics β€’ Deliver data marts and ETL processes that enhance self service analytics capabilities for a diverse set of users/use cases β€’ Define standards and best practices for improving data quality and automation β€’ Translate data consumption needs into requirements and technical specifications for source data and transformations <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> β€’ Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills β€’ Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills β€’ Proficiency with data languages, tools, and techniques and how to leverage them for impact including Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, BI/Viz Tools β€’ Ability to synthesize common data models and actionable frameworks from diverse analytical needs for technical and non technical stakeholders β€’ Ability to analyze business requirements in various business functional areas and translate them into conceptual, logical and physical data models β€’ Understanding dimensional modeling techniques and their applications β€’ Advanced experience writing, optimizing and validating SQL queries; good command of Python. β€’ 1-3 years hands on experience building, running and supporting ETL pipelines on large scale data sets β€’ Good command of database optimization and scaling approaches β€’ Experience working in Agile framework β€’ Attentive to detail with strong quality control, especially in regard to large-scale data changes β€’ Bonus: Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events <h3>πŸ–οΈ Benefits</h3> β€’ We offer comprehensive benefits and a wellness package above and beyond standard medical benefits to support our Britelings’ lifestyle. β€’ Eventbrite's global benefit programs are designed to meet you where you are by offering resources and support for your health, well-being, finances, and family.
