Job Description

<h3>πŸ“‹ Description</h3> β€’ As an Analytics Engineer at MongoDB, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and simplify end user engagement across our most critical data sets. β€’ You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust analytics solutions, ensuring data integrity, and enabling data-driven insights across all of MongoDB. β€’ This role requires an analytical thinker with strong technical expertise to contribute to the growth and success of the entire business. β€’ This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the North America region. <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> β€’ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline β€’ 2-4 years of relevant experience β€’ Strong Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases β€’ Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes β€’ Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis β€’ Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience with managing codebases with git β€’ Experience managing ETL and data pipeline orchestration with dbt and Airflow β€’ Familiarity with basic command line functions β€’ Experience translating project requirements into a set of technical sub-tasks that build towards a final deliverable β€’ Committed to continuous improvement, with a passion for building processes/tools to make everyone more efficient β€’ The ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally to drive actionable and measurable results β€’ A passion for AI as an enhancing tool to improve workflows, increase productivity, and generate smarter outcomes. β€’ Strong communication skills to document technical processes clearly and lead knowledge-sharing efforts across teams β€’ A desire to constantly learn and improve themselves <h3>πŸ–οΈ Benefits</h3> β€’ equity β€’ participation in the employee stock purchase program β€’ flexible paid time off β€’ 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave β€’ fertility and adoption assistance β€’ 401(k) plan β€’ mental health counseling β€’ access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage β€’ health benefits offerings
