<h3>πŸ“‹ Description</h3> β€’ This Data Analyst position can work out remotely within the U.S. β€’ As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data-driven strategies and contributing to the success of our Big Data initiatives at ADC. β€’ You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying advanced data science solutions to uncover customer, product and operational insights from complex datasets. β€’ Candidate should be able to work on a geographically distributed team. β€’ Additionally, they will be working in a technology-driven environment utilizing the latest tools and techniques. β€’ The ideal candidate should have rigorous analytical, ML and AI capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to help solve our most complex business problems. β€’ Highly sought-after qualities include versatility and a desire to continuously learn, improve and empower other team members. β€’ Craft and maintain data infrastructure with the Data Engineering team by translating business requirements from business partners to data models that will enable reporting, dashboards and segmentation. β€’ Utilize technologies to collect, clean, analyze, predict, and effectively communicate information. β€’ Proactively analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations that drive business strategies. β€’ Build, validate, and optimize predictive models using machine learning algorithms to ensure accuracy and performance. β€’ Create and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Ensure data quality and consistency by cleaning, transforming, and normalizing data, while maintaining a central source of truth. β€’ Contribute to data security and confidentiality by maintaining appropriate access controls, encryption and backup procedures. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Quality, etc. to identify data needs and provide data-driven solutions. β€’ Provide training and support to team and business partners to enhance data literacy. β€’ Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and machine learning to continually improve data analysis methodologies and techniques. β€’ Proactive thinking and ideation to facilitate ongoing, open dialogue where information and ideas are shared to generate solutions. β€’ Identify opportunities for innovation and propose data-driven solutions. β€’ Maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies and findings. <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> β€’ Bachelor’s degree in data science, Data Analytics, computer Science, Statistics or similar discipline including Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering is preferred. β€’ Minimum 2 years of work-related experience. β€’ Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization and data mining, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry. β€’ Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques and data visualization. β€’ Knowledge of or direct experience with Databricks and/or Apache Spark. β€’ Programming language and tool experience, ideally in Python, R, Scala and SQL plus a willingness to learn new software development languages to meet goals and objectives. β€’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Databricks, QuickSight, Power BI). β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team. β€’ Preferred Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field. β€’ Experience working in an agile environment. β€’ Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data integration, data warehousing and ETL processes. β€’ Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA and GDPR. β€’ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. <h3>πŸ–οΈ Benefits</h3> β€’ Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of. β€’ Employees can qualify for free medical coverage in our Health Investment Plan (HIP) PPO medical plan in the next calendar year. β€’ An excellent retirement savings plan with high employer contribution. β€’ Tuition reimbursement, the Freedom 2 Save student debt program and FreeU education benefit - an affordable and convenient path to getting a bachelor’s degree. β€’ A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune. β€’ A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.
