<h3>πŸ“‹ Description</h3> β€’ Guide teams to major deliverables with knowledge and expertise in AI/ML, particularly in generative models. β€’ Own a technical area by providing technical leadership for a team focused on advanced AI/ML innovations. β€’ Drive large cross-functional projects independently to completion, emphasizing the integration of creative AI technologies. β€’ Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure they are aware of the cutting edge and can leverage knowledge into products β€’ Evaluate technologies and potential partners to find the best fit for DigitalOcean β€’ Participate and support in engineering excellence β€’ Independently complete projects from planning to completion with high autonomy β€’ Collaborate with other engineers to find elegant architectures and solutions that enhance innovative AI capabilities. <h3>🎯 Requirements</h3> β€’ Strong knowledge in AI/ML, GenAI, infrastructure, and developer tools, particularly in creating content generation pipelines β€’ Able to make effective trade-offs in regards to both engineering, product, research, and business, while balancing short term and long term needs β€’ Experience with LLMs, transformers, model inference, pre-training, fine-tuning, data platforms, and infrastructure β€’ 12+ years relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment delivering business outcomes <h3>πŸ–οΈ Benefits</h3> β€’ We innovate with purpose. The salary range for this position is between $198,000.00 - $230,000.00 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
