As part of our expansion, we're hiring a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure powering Formance’s financial solutions. You’ll help scale our platform, automate processes, and ensure reliability and security as we grow. Collaborating closely with engineering, you'll streamline deployments and monitor production to support our global expansion We're a team of 20, growing to 35+ soon. Becoming the financial backend for major SaaS platforms is about trust and proving our product's value in mission-critical environments. What you’ll do Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain business-critical infrastructure and software that powers Formance's simulation and production environments. Enhance existing solutions by automating manual processes, improving deployment pipelines, and optimizing infrastructure. Maintain all tools and the Kubernetes operator (developed in Go). Become a Formance expert, with in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, to effectively deliver, monitor, and support data and infrastructure. Collaborate with engineering teams and product management to deliver solutions aligned with business goals. Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain business-critical infrastructure and software that powers Formance's simulation and production environments. You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (Kubernetes). You are proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, etc.) and have experience managing production environments for mission-critical applications. You thrive in problem-solving and scaling infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance in rapidly growing environments. You take ownership of projects and proactively seek ways to improve processes, workflows, and system reliability. You are eager to learn about and work with modern financial backend concepts like ledgering, reconciliation, and payments infrastructure. You have over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Management, preferably within fast-growing tech companies or the Fintech space.
