About the Role

Amazon is hiring an AI Content Expert II for a 12-month fixed-term contract to create and annotate high-quality training data for Large Language Models. Responsibilities include generating complex multimodal content, performing quality audits, and collaborating with scientists to improve data quality. The role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and experience with data annotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video)
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles with various degrees of creativity
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ year of experience working with written language data, including experience with annotation, and other forms of data markup
• Strong understanding of U.S.-based culture, society, and norms
• Excellent attention to details and ability to focus for a long period of time

Nice to Have:

• Strong proficiency in English (C1 level in CEFR scale)
• Experience with creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation
• 1+ year(s) of experience working with command line interfaces and basic UNIX commands
