About the Role

Amazon is hiring an AI Content Expert II for a 12-month fixed-term contract to create high-quality training data for Large Language Models. The role involves annotating complex multimodal data, writing grammatically correct texts, and working with scientists to improve data quality. This position requires rotational shift flexibility and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video)
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles with various degrees of creativity
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous information

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years experience working with written language data including annotation and data markup
• Strong research skills to gather information and understand complex topics
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods

Nice to Have:

• Experience with creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation
• Familiarity with common markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown)
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language
