About the Role

Amazon is hiring an AI Content Expert II to create and annotate complex multimodal training data for improving Large Language Models. This fixed-term role involves making high-judgment decisions, working with scientists and engineers, and ensuring data quality across text, image, and video content.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video)
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles while adhering to guidelines
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years experience working with written language data including annotation and data markup
• Strong research skills to gather information and understand complex topics
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods

Nice to Have:

• Strong proficiency in English (C1 level CEFR) with excellent writing and comprehension
• Experience with creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation
• Familiarity with common markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown) and text formats (JSON, CSV, RTF)
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language
• Familiarity with regular expressions syntax and Large Language Models
