About the Role

Amazon seeks an AI Content Expert II to create and annotate high-quality, complex training data for improving Large Language Models. Responsibilities include writing and evaluating diverse content, performing quality audits, and collaborating with scientists and engineers. This is a fixed-term contractual role requiring strong attention to detail and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video)
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles with various degrees of creativity
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience working with written language data, including annotation and data markup
• Strong research skills to gather relevant information, understand complex topics, and synthesize multiple resources
• Excellent attention to details and ability to focus for a long period of time

Nice to Have:

• Strong proficiency in English (C1 level in CEFR scale)
• Strong understanding of U.S.-based culture, society, and norms
• Experience with creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation
