About the Role

Amazon is hiring an AI Content Expert II to create and annotate high-quality training data for Large Language Models. The role involves writing texts, performing quality checks, and making judgment calls on complex tasks. This is a fixed-term contract with an in-office schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles adhering to guidelines
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions with ambiguous information
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Experience with language annotation and data markup
• Proficiency in English (C1 level CEFR) with excellent writing and comprehension
• Good understanding of Dutch and U.S.-based culture, society, and norms

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree or experience in a professional field or military
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, and Excel
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl)
• Experience in computational linguistics, language data processing, semantics, or syntax
