About the Role

Amazon is hiring an AI Content Expert II - German to create and annotate high-quality training data for improving Large Language Models. The role involves working with complex multimodal data, making high-judgment decisions, and collaborating with scientists and engineers. Strong German and English language skills are required along with experience in data annotation and markup.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video)
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles with various degrees of creativity
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Associate's Degree or related work experience
• 2+ years of experience working with written language data including annotation and data markup
• Strong proficiency in German and English (C1+ level)
• Strong understanding of U.S.-based culture, society, and norms

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation
• 1+ year(s) of experience working with command line interfaces and basic UNIX commands
