About the Role

AWS is hiring an Analytics Specialist to help customers leverage cloud data and analytics technologies. The role involves designing solutions, delivering technical engagements, and enabling teams with AWS analytics services. This position focuses on data warehouse, data lake, and AI/ML projects to drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AWS teams to enable customers and partners in analytics, especially data warehouse and data lake technologies
• Deliver technical sessions, support key analytic engagements, and develop reusable technical solutions and content
• Lead on-site projects to prove AWS services for analytic solutions, including migrations and new applications
• Work with engineering teams to convey customer feedback and share best practices and reference architectures
• Help customers remove constraints to leverage data for business insights and drive innovation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Familiar with services and products related to data analysis, e.g., Redshift, EMR, OpenSearch, Flink, Spark, Hbase, Kafka, Kinesis, Trino, Hudi, Iceberg
• Experience in deploying and maintaining big data projects

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Experience with AI/ML projects
• Experience in customer-facing roles
