About the Role

Applications Engineer role at Polymath Robotics, focusing on bridging client needs with engineering teams to deploy autonomous vehicle software. Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective clients to align expectations and ensure features cover use cases
• Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to communicate requirements between clients and teams
• Contribute to ROS2 development, enhancing architectural framework
• Prepare technical proposals addressing customer requirements and track project progress
• Assist in customizing products or fit specific customer requirements, including demo-level code

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Expertise in one or more of: C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, machine vision, modern software development, systems architecture
• Previous experience working on robots or other autonomous systems
• Passion for high ownership of work and collaborative spirit, with ability to learn and contribute across the stack
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with passion for working with client teams

Nice to Have:

• Ability to rapidly spin up demo-level code for conferences or presentations
