Key Responsibilities

  • Run A/B experiments, evaluate optimization impact, and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Work closely with product managers and software engineers to design experiments and implement solutions
  • Participate in Amazon-wide machine learning community and help recruit technical talent

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code
  • 3+ years of practical machine learning experience
  • 1+ years of building models for business application experience

Nice to Have:

  • 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
  • Experience in professional software development
  • Solid ML background and experience with NLP and LLM algorithms and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
