About the Role

The Applied Scientist will work on the Artificial General Intelligence team to develop algorithms and modeling techniques for multi-modal systems using generative AI and computer vision. They will leverage large-scale computing resources to advance state-of-the-art multi-modal LLMs and GenAI technologies that directly impact customer products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and modeling techniques for multi-modal systems
• Advance state-of-the-art with generative AI and computer vision technology
• Work with multi-modal Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI in Computer Vision
• Leverage large-scale computing resources to accelerate development
• Impact customers through products and services using vision and language technology

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field
• 1+ years of building models for business applications
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Nice to Have:

• PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering or related fields
• Experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MxNet)
• Research publications in computer vision, deep learning or machine learning
• Experience with multi-modal LLMs and Gen AI in Computer Vision (image and video domains)
