The Applied Scientist role focuses on building industry-leading Conversational AI Systems using machine learning, natural language understanding, and generative AI. Responsibilities include developing novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance human language technology. The position involves working with large-scale data and computing resources to impact millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques for human language technology
• Advance state-of-the-art in NLU, Dialog Systems, and Generative AI with LLMs
• Work with heterogeneous text and structured data sources
• Impact millions of customers through products and services
• Collaborate with internationally recognized experts in the field

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse

Nice to Have:

• Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code
• Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
