About the Role

The AGI team seeks an Applied Scientist to develop industry-leading technology with Large Language Models and multimodal systems. This contract role involves collaborating on advanced modeling techniques, innovating model-in-the-loop approaches, and enhancing customer experiences through speech and language technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of advanced approaches and modeling techniques for LLM technology
• Innovate model-in-the-loop and human-in-the-loop approaches for high-quality data collection
• Safeguard data privacy and security for LLM training
• Enhance customer experiences through state-of-the-art products using speech and language technology
• Support science solution design, run experiments, and research new algorithms

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience researching machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science
• Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application
• Experience with programming or scripting language like Python, Java, C or C++

Nice to Have:

• PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
• Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
• Experience solving business problems through machine learning, data mining and statistical algorithms
