About the Role

This role involves developing machine learning models for recommendation and search systems at Prime Video, using deep learning and optimization methods. The scientist will collaborate with teams to enhance product insights, stay updated with latest techniques, and publish research findings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ML models for recommendation & search systems using deep learning, online learning, and optimization methods
• Work closely with scientists, engineers, and product managers to expand product insights and plan high-impact projects
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and latest modeling techniques in the field
• Publish research findings in top conferences and journals
• Guide and collaborate with teams as a research leader and hands-on ML practitioner

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
• 3+ years of building models for business application experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing

• Experience using Unix/Linux
• Experience in professional software development
