The Applied Scientist II role at Ring and Blink AI involves solving unique computer vision challenges at the intersection of edge computing, multi-modal sensor fusion, and visual language models. The candidate will drive applied research in on-device computer vision and multi-modal ML, balancing innovation with pragmatism to ship production-ready models.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive applied research in on-device computer vision and multi-modal ML
• Balance innovation with pragmatism by shipping models meeting production requirements
• Own the complete ML lifecycle from problem formulation to production validation
• Advance the field by publishing novel techniques and filing patents

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field
• 3+ years of deep learning, computer vision, algorithms implementation experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
