About the Role

The Applied Scientist II role at Ring and Blink AI involves solving unique computer vision challenges at the intersection of edge computing, multi-modal sensor fusion, and visual language models. The candidate will drive applied research in on-device computer vision and multi-modal ML, balancing innovation with pragmatism to ship models meeting strict production requirements.

• Own the complete ML lifecycle from problem formulation to production validation
• Advance the field by publishing novel techniques and contributing to research

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
• 3+ years of deep learning, computer vision, human robotic interaction, algorithms implementation experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

• Experience in professional software development
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
