About the Role
The Arabic Language Manager ensures high-quality translations for Meta's products, delivering a great user experience to Arabic-speaking audiences. Responsibilities include reviewing UI content, managing translation vendors, and maintaining linguistic assets. This role requires collaboration with product teams and stakeholders across different time zones.Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing, editing and/or translating high visibility UI content and high priority long form content
- Performing localization screenshot testing to identify linguistic and functional issues
- Collaborating with product teams and performing hands-on linguistic testing on web and mobile devices
- Managing translation vendors' performance and monitoring quality through quality frameworks
- Maintaining localization glossaries, style guides, and translation memories for Arabic content
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience in English-to-Arabic translation, product UI localization, and translation quality management
- Experience in creating and/or maintaining linguistic assets for Arabic translation (terminology, style guides)
- Knowledge of society and current trends in the Arab world
- Familiarity with CAT tools and experience in localization of online and mobile products from English to Arabic
Nice to Have:
- Experience in localization of gaming content
- Experience in localization program and/or project management
- Experience in digital marketing
- Experience in hardware localization and testing
- Experience in AR, VR, smart home devices, or related technologies
