About the Role

The Data Architect/Consultant designs and implements large-scale, secure AWS data and analytics solutions for clients. They provide technical guidance, lead migration strategies, and act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end large-scale, complex, scalable, and secure Data & Analytics AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective Data & Analytics migration and modernization strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and governance
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
• 5+ years of experience in data or software engineering, with a strong understanding of distributed data processing
• 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable, highly available data solutions, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality, and monitoring processes
• 3+ years proficiency in SQL, Python, and at least one additional programming language (e.g., Java, Scala)

Nice to Have:

• AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
• Experience building applications using Generative AI tools and technologies (LLMs, Vector Stores, Orchestrators such as LangChain, Prompt Engineering)
