About the Role

Azure Advanced Cloud Engineer 2 is the primary engineering contact accountable for strategic customers' support experience on Azure. The role involves driving resolution of critical technical problems, supporting key customer projects, and being the voice of customers within Azure engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track customer incidents and engage with strategic customers to understand issues
  • Serve as connecting point between product teams and customers throughout engagement lifecycle
  • Handle critical escalations on customer issues and conduct impact analysis
  • Act as voice of customers and channel product feedback to product groups
  • Partner with other teams to prioritize and resolve critical customer issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics/Science, AI or related field AND 2+ years experience in technology industry
  • 2+ years experience supporting enterprise level, mission-critical applications and infrastructure
  • 1+ years experience with on-call and driving mitigation for mission critical incidents
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, Kubernetes
  • Experience with Data Platform: Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Azure Data Bricks
  • Experience with Azure PaaS Services: App Services, Azure Functions, Redis Cache
  • Experience with Monitoring technologies: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana
