About the Role

Polymath Robotics is seeking a Build & DevOps Engineer to ensure reliable, secure, and automated software delivery for autonomous vehicles. The role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating build and release workflows, and developing internal tools for deployment and testing. You'll work in a hybrid environment with a focus on open-source robotics and developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or similar)
  • Automate build, test, and release workflows for ROS and Linux targets
  • Develop internal tools for deployment, testing, and integration
  • Enforce good security practices for internal and external builds
  • Extend automated self-test and integration testing for software releases

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, build systems, or software tooling roles
  • Proficiency with Linux development environments
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and container tooling

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with ROS build systems (colcon, catkin)
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools
  • Passion for automation and developer productivity
