About the Role

The Clinical Specialist Manager for AWS Healthcare AI leads a team of clinical consultants to define AI application focus areas for healthcare customers. They create guidelines, educate teams, resolve clinical questions, and ensure quality in clinical informatics. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of clinical consultants and provide mentorship to medical annotators
• Create and maintain guidelines for clinical informatics and educate annotation and science teams
• Resolve clinical questions and mitigate risks with data-driven proposals in ambiguous situations
• Identify and evaluate clinical content and technology solutions to address customer problems
• Author and maintain standard policies and procedures for the clinical informatics team

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
