About the Role

Design and deploy Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) architectures for AI superclusters, focusing on optical network design, transceiver implementation, testing, and automation. Monitor and resolve incidents in optical networks to ensure high performance and reliability for AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead optical network design for AI applications and create Bills of Materials
  • Implement optical transceiver designs and collaborate with teams for datacenter evolution
  • Test and validate optical transceivers using advanced methodologies
  • Monitor optical network telemetry and diagnose issues to minimize disruptions
  • Develop automated tools for optical network efficiency and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 2+ years technical experience OR equivalent experience
  • Experience with silicon photonics device blocks and fiber attach processes
  • Experience with SerDes at 112G–224G PAM4 and Signal Integrity fundamentals
  • 1+ years experience in IM-DD optical technologies including PAM4 and NRZ signaling
  • 1+ years experience with optical transceiver characterization using BERTs, oscilloscopes, and optical spectrum analyzers

Nice to Have:

  • Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR Master's Degree AND 3+ years technical experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years technical experience OR equivalent experience
