About the Role

The Cloud Solution Architect (Cloud & AI) role at Microsoft focuses on driving architectural innovation and implementation excellence for Azure Data, Analytics, and AI solutions. Responsibilities include designing modern data platforms, leading proofs of concept, and ensuring customer success through trusted advisership. This senior position requires deep technical expertise in Azure analytics services and strong business acumen to deliver transformative customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design modern Data & Analytics platform solutions with infused AI, lead POCs and MVPs
• Develop reusable intellectual property and content assets to scale across teams and customers
• Drive consumption growth and unblock customer challenges by leveraging subject matter expertise
• Advocate for customers by sharing insights, collaborating with engineering, and driving product improvements
• Orchestrate and bridge delivery through cross-functional teams to accelerate customer outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Enterprise-scale technical experience with Azure Analytics ecosystem (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks)
• Experience creating Data & Analytics Proof of Concepts (PoC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
• Business acumen and ability to convey business value, build trusted advisor status, and influence stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, DAX, T-SQL, PowerShell, C#, Python
• Knowledge of competitive Data & Analytics platforms (AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
• Understanding of data lake house, data mesh architectural principles
