About the Role

Cloud Solution Architect - Infrastructure role focused on designing and deploying secure, scalable infrastructure solutions for defense sector customers. Responsibilities include leading technical delivery of Azure services, ensuring compliance with defense-grade security standards, and driving cloud adoption in classified environments. The role requires deep expertise in cloud modernization and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect resilient infrastructure solutions for disconnected and classified environments
• Lead technical delivery of Azure infrastructure services including compute, networking, and storage
• Drive adoption of Azure consumption plans and agreements across defense accounts
• Provide technical guidance on ITAR, DFARS, FedRAMP High, and Zero Trust compliance
• Collaborate with defense customers to understand business needs and facilitate technical workshops

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure architecture or cloud computing
• Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter
• U.S. citizenship verification required via valid passport

Nice to Have:

• Deep proficiency in Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (compute, networking, storage, hybrid cloud)
• Experience with Azure Government, FedRAMP High, and Zero Trust architectures
• Familiarity with disconnected, classified, and sovereign environments
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, CCSP)
• Prior experience supporting defense sector customers and systems integrators
