About the Role

The Controls Engineer, APAC Controls Deployment & Service role involves deploying and servicing building automation systems like BMS and EPMS in AWS data centers across Asia-Pacific. Responsibilities include managing deployments, delivering critical projects, providing service support, and improving operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams and vendors to ensure data center reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployment of data center controls with effective vendor management
• Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automation
• Service and support for partner teams, diagnosing and resolving operational events
• Resolution of tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Delivery of initiatives to improve data center efficiency or operations procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience in a data center or other critical environment
• Experience in data center engineering or operations
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of construction or project management experience
• Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License
• Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent
