About the Role

The Data Analyst at West Star will analyze data, administer databases, and help maintain IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include database administration, requirements analysis for reporting, and designing/developing reports from various systems. The role involves monitoring database performance, ensuring data security, and turning data into business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and update databases including SQL, Oracle and Exchange
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply patches/versions
• Prepare reports, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
• Develop data collection processes to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
• Work with management to prioritize business needs and turn data into insights

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or equivalent experience
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, Oracle and Exchange databases
• Recent experience administering SQL, Oracle and Exchange databases

Nice to Have:

• Valid driver's license approved for airline travel
• Valid passport
