About the Role

This is a Data Analytics Specialist internship at Bosch Japan where you'll work with real marketing and vehicle data, contribute to data-driven projects supporting sales and marketing decisions, and explore AI models to enhance data governance. You'll gather practical experience in a dynamic team environment at a global automotive equipment supplier.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with real marketing and vehicle data to ensure databases are complete, consistent, and high quality
• Contribute to data-driven projects (data extraction, analytics) that support sales and marketing decisions
• Explore and develop AI models and algorithms to enhance data governance activities
• Gather practical and on-the-job experience with a mix of day-to-day operations and projects
• Work in a dynamic team environment for a global automotive equipment supplier

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Student in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields
• Strong foundation in data analytics and AI application
• Structured and analytical mindset able to deep-dive into complex data problems
• Fluent English required
• Be able to stay for a period of 6-12 months at the company
• Be regularly enrolled at a university during the entire internship period

Nice to Have:

• Intermediate Japanese or Chinese language ability
• Understanding of data management and governance (data modeling, data integrity, handling large datasets)
• Hands-on experience with Python or R for data processing, ML, or automation
• Experience with database SQL
• Basic experience with machine learning frameworks or generative AI APIs
• Familiarity with version control (Git) or workflow automation tools
