About the Role

The Data Associate role supports machine learning and AI development by labeling, categorizing, and enriching raw data for training models. Responsibilities include data collection, labeling, process improvement, and analyzing data to solve problems. This position is part of the global grocery stores team, focusing on smart shopping cart technology using computer vision and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data collection tasks for Amazon devices, applications, or services
• Label and tag data (text, images, audio, video) daily following SOPs and guidelines
• Identify and classify specific features or patterns in datasets
• Participate in process improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and accuracy
• Analyze data to identify root causes of problems and solve them

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree
• Fluency in English (speak, write, read)
• Ability to succeed in a fluid, fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise annotation instructions
• Flexibility to work across all shifts
• Work from office 5 days a week

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
