About the Role

This role involves troubleshooting, project management, and maintaining building management and electrical power monitoring systems in AWS data centers. The engineer will develop processes, innovate in controls, and support global operations with technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for BMS and EPMS issues
  • Develop and manage BMS and EPMS project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Review and implement controls sequences of operation and modify programming
  • Participate in global on-call schedule for technical support
  • Manage BMS and EPMS service contracts and supervise vendor work

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering with 3+ years controls experience, or Associates with 5 years, or High School with 8 years
  • Experience with industrial controls in critical environments (e.g., data center, manufacturing)
  • Minimum 2 years in controls or electrical construction project coordination with multiple teams/vendors

Nice to Have:

  • M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering degree
  • Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, or troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems
  • TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience
  • Experience with management of change
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
