About the Role

This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining server and network infrastructure in Amazon's advanced data centers. Responsibilities include technical troubleshooting, physical hardware remediation, and ensuring operational SLAs while working rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Escalation point and technical troubleshooter for all systems and problems
• Deep diving into Linux server issues and remediation of physical layer outages
• Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs
• Physical replacement of server and network device parts and ensuring correct rotation of spares
• Interact with third party vendors and contractors while enforcing security best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel between sites

Nice to Have:

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution
• Experience operating efficiently under pressure
