About the Role

The Data Center Operations Engineer maintains AWS global infrastructure by resolving hardware issues, troubleshooting Linux servers and virtualization, and ensuring 24/7 system reliability. This role involves shift rotations, physical device replacements, and collaboration with teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain system reliability by resolving trouble tickets for hardware problems
  • Troubleshoot Linux servers and XEN service virtualization
  • Remediate physical layer outages on systems and network
  • Participate in data center power and cooling events with 24/7 on-call requirements
  • Install and configure racks according to internal SLAs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience
  • Basic understanding of data center facilities
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix Administration
  • Server Hardware Troubleshooting and hands-on experience

Nice to Have:

  • Data center operation experience
  • Network certification (CCENT/CCNA, Network+)
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
  • Project coordination/management experience
  • Bilingual (Korean/English)
