About the Role

The Data Center Operations Engineer maintains AWS global infrastructure by resolving hardware issues, troubleshooting Linux servers and virtualization, and ensuring 24/7 system reliability. This role involves shift rotations, physical device replacements, and collaboration with teams to improve operational efficiency in dynamic data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain system reliability by resolving trouble tickets for systems and network hardware
• Troubleshoot Linux servers and XEN service virtualization issues
• Perform physical replacement of server and network devices
• Participate in data center power and cooling events and 24/7 on-call rotations
• Install and configure racks according to internal SLAs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience
• Basic understanding of data center facilities
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix Administration
• Server hardware troubleshooting and hands-on experience

Nice to Have:

• Data center operation experience
• Network certification (CCENT/CCNA, Network+)
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
• Project coordination/management experience
• Bilingual (Korean/English)
