About the Role

The Data Engineer will develop and maintain scalable distributed systems for big data processing on AWS, supporting analytics platforms. They will design data infrastructure, build pipelines, and collaborate with teams to deliver data solutions for customer behavior analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable data infrastructure solutions
• Interface with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data using SQL and AWS technologies
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and BI solutions
• Work with business owners and developers to explore new data sources and deliver data
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and implement where appropriate

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience in data engineering
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
• Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience with any ETL tool like Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage
